any idea how to put ringtones onto this phone?

Ive got verizon and would like to buy this phone and have looked for unlocked ones online but havent found any. Id just like to know if anyone knows where i could find one if there are unlocked phones or when unlocked one will be available.

can any Ocean owners tell me how many text messages it can hold? much obliged.

Does anyone know, the grey part of their coverage maps, do you still get good service and can you still send texts, IM's, and emails while in a grey zone?

does anyone know the cheapest place to purchase this phone? I really want one but I don't want to pay the 275 price tag. So far I found finawireless .com has it for 95.

Anyone else having problems being able to sync email, calendar, contacts, etc.? I have owned this phone for almost 2 weeks and the Microsoft mail exchange has yet to work. Helio says they are trying to fix the problem, but has yet to. Wondering if others are having this problem or are things working correctly. I am also having problems with yahoo being able to download emails. Let me know. Thanks.

someone told there is going to be a successor to the ocean can anyone clarify this for me

1. Will it play mp3s?
2. Can I upload my mp3s from my computer to the fone and listen to them?
3. can i assign the uploaded mp3s to individuals that call me. So when Carl calls it plays the song, "White and Nerdy"

I was on youtube looking at video reviews and none of them really looked good to me can one of you people who own an ocean make a video review for me. or point me into a link where i can find one. im mainly looking for info on gooogle maps and the sms and aim and aol so thanks if you do this

I'm seriously considering going to Helio for the Ocean or possibly the Drift...they both look absolutely awesome. I just have a couple Q's before i make the big jump...:

1) do any of the phones have threaded SMS? or is that only a palm/Rim smartphone thing?

2) Do any of the phones have EMS? (where you can send preloaded animations and texts with more than 160 characters)

3) Is there a 30-day trial period?

if im going to switch to helio its the ocean but i need ur help is it smart to switch over?

I just talked to a helio representative and he said that you can go over your data limit each month (which is 160 mb) if you use a site like youtube 2 hours a day or more i would be using the web ALLOT if i got a helio so how easy would it be for me to go over?

Anyone able to surf facebook from there Ocean? Or having alot of trouble with other websites? It doesn't want to load for me.

do u think there will be a discount on the helio ocean for new members?

Has anyone had any experience using the Helio Ocean interfacing with a mac platform? In particular, I'm curious about file transfers and music.

i thought it was halarious when CellCraxy01 actually said dual keyboards was a con... 🙄 i wish i could have seen his face when he read about it on phonescoop and then he looked at pictures of the 2 keyboards and then gets surprised when he opens his box... he was probably like

😲 "O my god, this thing has 2 keyboards. 😲 O MY GOD, it has a camera!! 😲 HOLY CRAP, its has a color DISPLAY!!!."

I am looking at the Ocean, i see it has Microsoft Exchange syncing up and running. My question is in regards to a local install of Outlook 2003 on a PC. Can I sync the Calendar with that on on the Ocean. Or is there a different option someone has found for having a calendar online or on a system and being able to sycn / view/ edit it with the Ocean?

ringtones. im very particular about my ringtones and am having a really hard time getting the ones that i make on my phone. i tried the emailing it to ur yahoo and opening it up, blah blah blah, wouldnt open because it said it was too large. i also tried texting it to my phone via rumkin.com, also didnt work, i tried syncing it to my phone via the data cable, ALSO didnt work, so im running low on ideas...can anybody help??

Would the ocean work on the verizon network?

I'm currently looking at both The Helio Ocean and the LG EnV. Can anyone help me decide?
