Help! I am trying to clear my number from an 8700 for resale.

Can anyone help me out. I need to get my number out of the phone for resale. Thanks in advance.

phone your provider and tell them to disable the phone. when the guy goes to put it on a cell service they will have him enter the new phone number in the phone. your phone number will no longer ring on that phone once you tell your provider to disable it.
