Samsung SCH-U410

Can anyone tell me why my phone just stopped sending out any sound, i can hear the other party well, but they can't hear me, any help with this, wound be surely appreciated.

I found the directions for setting the voicemail notification that provides a sound and animation on the display, however, I still don't see a "light blue band" at the bottom of my display that contains icons for various functions such as missed calls, new msgs, alarm on, speakerphone, etc. Does anyone have it on their SCH-u410?

My manual refers to "bottom display icons" in the "light blue line of the main screen"...none of which I've ever seen, especially the "New Msgs" which notifies of a new message "by animations and sound".

Why doesn't this function appear on my phone?

Does anyone have this phone that can tell me, can you send ringtones via the yournumber@vzwpix.com??
I looking to get this or the u340 for my mother, and I'd like her to have a phone that can get the tones. That and a phone that has blue tooth where the 340 does not. She doesn't need ALL the bells and whistles just something simple....

I'm wondering if now that i bought this phone and it's in the mail if it was the right one to buy. Does anyone know if the clock on the front screen can be changed to a picture? Or if anyone has had any problems with the hinges on the phone because thats what Ive been hearing so I'm looking for a second opinion.
