EDGE vs. Verizons?
How does EDGE compare to the service used by Verizon? I currently have a Motorola Q and browse the internet on both 1X and EV networks...

I went to about 20 different web pages .bloomberg to phone scoop on both the iphone on edge and my treo 700p on evdo.
Believe it or not the iphone was faster 18 out of 20 sites. the other two were tied.
edge is up to 200kbs
evdo is up to 1400kbs
i know palm has to go through a converter but dam.
