How do I make iTAP default?
I'm a savvy mobile user and decided to grab the w385 to use until a high end Verizon phone comes out that I like (just noticed their holiday releases, whoops). Anyway, when I write a text message I can't get iTAP to be the default entry mode. I always have to switch from ABC to iTAP first. I use iTAP in 99/100 texts, so making this change every time is mind-numbing. Am I missing an option in this phone's simple menus or does it lack that capability?

Try this:
From the home page of the phone press the left soft key.
When I do this, it opens a menu that says:
Messaging
1. New Message
2. Inbox
3. Sent
etc.
Press the left soft key again and it opens a menu that says:
Settings
1. All Message
2. TXT Message
3. Picture Message
From here I selected All Message by pressing the center key on my phone. This opens the following the "All MSG Settings" Menu and Option 5 is Entry Mode, which allows you to set iTap as your default.
