The CDM-1450 has the 850 band, but the PCS-1450 - which I assume Virgin will carry - does not have the 850 band.

Since the Slice is a PCS- model, I can assure you they will carry the CDM-1450.
And personally, I hope they don't add some totally retarded name on it. It's one thing when it's catchy and creative, but Slice is so totally asinine that I want to buy one and run it over with one of my cars.
