how old is too old for a sidekick?
what would be a good age to stop at? or is there no age.

Well I'm 31 and I just bought a Sidekick Slide. I had the option of buying the Blackberry Pearl at the same price but opted for the Slide instead. Why? I love the QWERTY keyboard...and all the other features! The only thing that I see looks 'kiddish' is the phone's color--black and purple. I wish Motorola offered more than 1 color option so that users of all ages can pick a Slide that best suite their "personality" ...and not age 😁

I agree, I had the option of a Blackberry - price wasn't an issue - and I liked the Slide better.

Hiii... funny I was about to post a question like this... I'm actually 28 yrs old and am dying for a change from the blackberry system I've had for 2 yrs. I want the full fledge sideways keyboard and considering getting a sidekick.. Supposedly they are targeted for the "younger" market like teens I guess.. So I feel stupid getting one.. well now the question is does it really matter who gets what now? SK is targeted for heavy texters, so kids will tend to pick up on this.
NOW, BB are the new hot phones on the market, and kids these days are using BB similar to a sidekick. now since everyone has a BB, im going out to get a SK Slide. BB service is too pricey for me anyway
