Has anyone used the DBA-10 with this phone?
I'd like to establish a Bluetooth internet connection (GPRS and/or circuit switched) from my laptop using the phone.

😁 Just got the DBA-10, on e-bay. Great deal. It works great, however, I can't get it to work for anything other than headset or modem. I'd like to be able to sync with Outlook for contacts, appointments, etc. I am doing more research regarding, but any advice someone has is appreciated. I paid 10+ s/h. Great Deal.

I got a SE T62u around November. I got a DBA-10 adapter in January, and have yet to get it to work. It work on SE T61 phones, so I know the adaptor is good, but the T62u will not recognize there is anything attached. AT&T and SE support have been less than helpful in getting it resolved. Anyone have any suggestions/experience with this? Thanks, -M

I have a DBA-10 and works just fine.
Does the Accessory section say it is attached? With the unit attached go to Extras->Accessories->DBA-10.

I cannot get a DBA-10 to work with my T62u. I do understand that it should first be recognized by the phone under Extras->Accessories. But, with the DBA-10 attached, the Accessories remains dimmed.
If anyone has run into this 'unrecognition' problem and solved it, please share your solution with me and us!

You have one of the older T62u with out of date software / firmware. You need to have it upgraded. Not as easy as it sounds.
We have a couple of posts about it on a Yahoo Group. No one seems to reply here anymore about the T62u.

Thanks for your reply. I should have used the same username for this group as with the Yahoo group you cited. I am the 'Profinite' there, and you have alreeady helped me a LOT with your stories.
I agree with you that this group at PhoneScoop seems dead. So, I have moved to the Yahoo group.
It does appear definite that I will have to send my T62u to Sony-Ericsson. They will charge me $35 whether or not the software/firmware upgrade is successful.
