MOTOROKR Z6 technical questions (Linux and stuff)
Hello people,
I'm totally new to this forum so bear with me. Smile I'm also not really fit with current mobile phone technology. 😕
So, I need a new phone (my current one is a T68i, yeah I know 🤠).
I've got a few technical questions:
1) Ring tones: Do I get to put an mp3 from my PC on the phone and use it directly as a ring tone? What does "72 chords" mean exactly? I mean, I play guitar 😉, but that only seems to add to the confusion. What does it mean when my mobile newspaper lists "48 chords"?
2) Linux-related: The review I've read says that you can use this phone as an external disk "thanks to the included software". Now, it's important that I can use it without this software (like a USB stick), or else it won'...

The z6m is a CDMA phone that is offered by US Cellular and Alltel. The z6 is a GSM phone that is capable for use on T-Mobile and AT&T. Since it looks like you have GSM, you might want to ask in one of those forums, because the phones are different. There is a forum for the z6, which might be more helpful to you.

I'm sorry if I'm reading your post wrong, but since you have a GSM Sony Ericson, I'm assuming that you are going to continue service with a GSM provider. If this is not the case, then I'm stupid today. 🙂
