When is Verizon getting the 755p??
I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THIS.
THEY ANNOUNCED ON THE 18TH THAT IT WOULD BE COMING SOON. IT IS NOW 11/1...AND NOTHING!!

This phone was supposed to come out yesterday from some of my close sources working for VZW, due to an unknown reason it has been pushed back yet again. I am now told middle of November. Personally I am not holding my breathe as we heard this in July too.

I've heard chatter of a mid-November date too. But not much, if anything, solid to back that up.
I've only got a couple of weeks left on my current Verizon contract. May have to go to a Sprint store this weekend and see what they can do.

You may want to consider the 700w/wx/p or Blackberry 8830. The 755p may be delayed till after Christmas.

I HAVE HEARD NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS ABOUT IT.
THE BLACKBERRY PEARL IS NICE AND HAS ALOT OF FEATURES BUT I HATE THE NORMAL KEY PAD TO ANSWER EMAILS. I NEED A FULL KEYPAD. AND THE BLACKBERRY 8830 IS WACK!!

I just talked to the Verizon guy at the booth and he said the 755p probably won't come out till February or even later. He said every time they come close to releasing it they find something else to fix and delay the release.

Okay, I have heard two dates, Nov. 21st which I don't believe because the phone VZW is launching on the 21st are available for pre order on the VZW site right now. The second date I have heard was from the Palm rep for VZW and that date was "After Thanksgiving." Again holding your breathe is not recommended. Anyone one else hearing anything different?

Our Corporate IT folks had a visit by a VP of some kind from Verizon recently. Our guys asked the VP point blank what was going on as there are a number of us with old phones that are due for an upgrade.
There was some mealy-mouthed mention of late November as the possible new release date for the 755p, but there was no commitment to any date.
Our guys said that the meeting was like eating rice cakes. It kind of felt like they were being fed something, but there really was not anything of any substance there.
