lg vx5400 Issues to Verizon techies
constantly fades, if I have 3 bars, her phone only 1. The 2nd of her phones is doing the same. Help me out because, she wants to go back to the old LG-VX4650. We never had a problem with these ones.

Most phones from Verizon should do this but I don't think that this one does. I want to make sure though.
Thanks, Mike
Voice Mail for FIOS voice mail
I just got FIOS voice mail and I am having trouble setting it up in speed dial.
I want to be able to set it up so it will dial the voice mailbox and than dial my home number and than put in the pass word.
I've been trying different ways with the wait, the pause, the 2 second pause and the # key but I can't seem to crack the code to set it up.
I had no problem when I was on Optimum voice mailbox.
Any ideas how I can set it up would be appreciated.
Thank you.
can I do this?
2) can the battery be recharged in a chager by itself or ONLY while in the phone? So if I purchase an extra battery I'll need the phone in order to charge it?
3)if I'm using VZ Navigator in my car and the phone rings what happens? Can I answer the phone while still looking at the map/directions?

Speakerphone Not So Good... :(
It's very muddy and kinda distorted sounding, even at moderate volumes. It might be okay for someone who either has never heard a good speakerphone, or who uses it only rarely (i.e. when you're put on hold, or to check voicemail), but to me, not acceptable.
Weird, considering the 8350 costs only 20 bucks more, yet has a much better speakerphone. THIS is where LG decided to save the money? Ugh.
Kinda sucks. I was gonna recommend this phone to a friend of mine who wanted trimode and bluetooth on the same ph...

Nice Entry-level phone, but a bit pricey...
My only beef is the price... with no EVDO and only a VGA (640x480 res) camera, its definitely an entry-level phone, but at $119 w/a 2-yr contract (not counting online discounts or mail-in rebate), it's priced only $10 less than LG's midrange offering, the 8350.
Seems like that's pushing it a bit, considering that the 8350 has EVDO and a 1.3 megapixel camera.
Probably more like $79-99 w/a 2-yr (again, not counting online disc or MIR) is about what this phone's worth.
Say what who has this phone?
