LG VX-5400
Nice Entry-level phone, but a bit pricey...
My only beef is the price... with no EVDO and only a VGA (640x480 res) camera, its definitely an entry-level phone, but at $119 w/a 2-yr contract (not counting online discounts or mail-in rebate), it's priced only $10 less than LG's midrange offering, the 8350.
Seems like that's pushing it a bit, considering that the 8350 has EVDO and a 1.3 megapixel camera.
Probably more like $79-99 w/a 2-yr (again, not counting online disc or MIR) is about what this phone's worth.

I am not sure where you are getting your pricing but my verizon wireless location is selling the phone for 59.99 with a 50 mail in rebate which makes the phone 19.99 after rebate.
I am getting my pricing from local VZW stores (California) and online as well:

As you can see, the 5400, as of this writing (November 20th) is being offered for $119.99 w/a 2 yr contract, not counting online discount or MIRs... as I said.
Not awful, but again, midrange pricing on what it is essentially an entry-level phone. 😕
I'd wait for the price to go down a...

That's now a very reasonable price for what the 5400 offers. 🙂
Also, they dropped the price on the 8350 too, its now 99.99 w/a 2-yr, 49.99 if you count online disco or MIR. Also a good price for what you get.
Guess LG is gettin' aggressive for the holidays. 😎
