Vista Compatibility
How does the Verison 8830 work with Vista? The Q had a number of issues and before I purchase I want to make certain there are no issues.

I have vista and cannot get my blackberry to sync with it the drivers do not recognize and no one at blackberry or verizon can help any thoughts??

I just installed the BlackBerry software yesterday on my Vista desktop computer and it sync'd up with no trouble with my 8830. I haven't tried the VZZccess software yet, but my laptop only has XP on it, so that wouldn't answer your question.

Thanks for your response to my question. I have an 8703e with Verison and the desktop works fine; however, the teathering did not work with VISTA until a recent upgrade from Verizon release 6.2.1.
I assume that Verison's 8830 works as you stated in terms of a SYNC and I also assume that the tethering will work with 8830 using VISTA. I have tested most of Verizon PDA's and I am sure I will find out tomarrow as I receive my new 8830.
