I know this has been asked before, but I'm still somewhat confused. I've read through the threads on this as well.
Is there an additional fee for tethering? Or does it just get deducted from your minutes?
Do you use the USB cable that comes with the BB?
Does the BB include the necessary software/hardware to tether? Or do I have to buy some sort of bundle?
Is there a difference in tethering for the 8703 versus the 8830?

1. Tethering fee is $15.00 a month additional if you have a voice plan attached to your Blackberry Data. Does not use minutes.
2. Yes you use the cable that comes with it
3. Software usually is packed with it or you can go to http://vzw.smithmicro.com/blackberry/
to get the needed software.
