8830 or moto Q
i need a phone that has emial and a good os that i can manage my schedule. im looking at the new BB or the Q. i knwo the q has had a bad rep, but i have read how to fix most of the problems.
i dunno if the bb 8830 is worth the extra $100 since i just dont need the pop email, push is fien by me. but how bad really is the batt life on the Q? i also never had a bb, so im not familiar with their os. and i love the windows os, had the mpx220 and loved it.
anyone else caught inbetween the 8830 and the q like me?

I moved from the Motorola Q to the BB 8830 yesterday. I had 4 replacements for my Q due to instabilities. I had charging problems, constant crashes, periodic inability to un-mute calls, etc. So far I'm pretty happy with the BlackBerry. This is also my first BB device. I think Microsoft does a better job with the user interface, but the customization is better on the BB. In the long run I think you'll be much happier with the BB.

Iam not sure if I can be much help but I just wanted to give my $0.02 worth. I had the "q" for a day and returned it the next. The battery was ok, I didn't have any glitch issues and believe me, I hade run that thing non-stop while I had it. It was just a no frills product. There was no wow factor. I want a phone that makes me go "wow, look what this can do". After about 2 hours, there was no more to dive into. Boring. I held the BB and the keys were just too small and there was no camera. Not like that is a huge selling point, but fun to have. I am leaning towards the treo wx righ now. The wx is what I saw most of the reps wearing. Not like that directs me, but it gives me an idea of what they are liking. I did find that it was easy to use ...

Well another delema i have is that the BB does not have a camera. I need a good phone for business, but im still young enough that i wanna have fun with my phone and take, and recieve picture. This will be my personal/business/everyday cell phone. so i gotta mke it work in all aspects.

The phone is more consumer oriented and has a camera.
AT&T is releasing it now but Verizon will probably follow suit.

Yeah, i was thinking of that too. But I have the option of a NE2 right now, and im currently using an old samsung phone, wich sux real bad.. So i cant wait for the curve to come out. So based on the no camera and no mms on the 8830, im serioulsy leaning twords the problem plagued Q.
