Treo 700p v. 8830
So here's my problem, I'm up for my NE2 and I'm really becoming annoyed with my Treo 700p. The SMS lockup is killer and the phone randomly freezes up at points and its very annoying overall (I'm on my 3rd phone so I know it isn't just this one.)
So basically, is the 8830 a good alternative?

You throw away your touch screen Windows Mobile 2005 and wireless sync . You gain international voice and data if needed, higher resolution screen, a better e-mailing device. And of course lock up issues which are very rare and a host of other great features !

I like the touch screen, camera and mms but really can't stand the lock-ups. I didn't know I would be losing the wireless sync, that thing as really helped me out (but if the phone didn't crash, I wouldn't really need it haha)... I'm going to give it a shot and if I don't like it, I can always return it...

The wireless sync is close to the pull system of the BlackBerry, but the BlackBerry is faster intercepting e-mail and giving you a copy constantly. where your Treo can check every fifteen minutes . Soooo your really not loosing that process your gaining speed of the "BIZ" The Blackeberry's server . And also when it gets down to it your Microsoft Outlook is only a middle man sorta speak...............

Actually, the Microsoft Direct Push technology available on the Treo 700p and 755p can be set to push Outlook emails immediately, rather than checking only periodically.
