Dumb questions But..

I need to ask. I really am wanting a phone for email since I sell stuff on ebay and on craigslist plus make it easy to stay in touch. I have tried the Treos and I tried a Q but I always seem to not like them because they were hard to get set up. Stuff didn't want to work like emails and I was just lost. I am not the Brain like some of you all are on this website. I was thinking about buying into a Blackberry and I wanted some advice on these. How hard are they to use? I need to have them on vib at work just some advice pleae

Go to BlackBerry's website it's quite informative. There are some clips of business people explaining why the BlackBerry.

Great Thanks. Do you have one? Did you find it eay to set up? I don't know anyone around me that has one and can get assitance setting up if I get one. So I was looking at how simple it was.

The 8830 is fairly simple to set up (this is my first Blackberry). I'm assuming you don't have an enterprise server, which means you can choose two options for receiving emails on your device. 1) The "Internet option" (Blackberry's server automatically forwards emails which are sent to your regular email accounts), or 2) The "redirector option" which requires you to leave your computer on and the Blackberry software you install forwards emails to your device.

I ended up having to call Verizon tech support because I wasn't sure I had set up the "Internet option" correctly (I had) and was surprised at how helpful they were. One of the first times I've called any sort of tech support and felt that they wanted to stay on the phone with me ...
