I am considering the Curve after coming from the Blackjack. One thing that works well with Windows Mobile is Active Sync. It does a great job of syncing my appointments, tasks and contacts. Can I expect the same with the Blackberry Desktop software.

I'm new to Blackberry, but I have had no problems at all syncing with Outlook and I sync several times a day. It does a great job. I have everything from contacts, to tasks, to meetings, to grocery lists in there and it syncs seamlessly every time.

Got the Curve and had one big glitch syncing. After doing a sync to get all of my contacts into the Curve the address book would not search or sort properly. Hmm, I didn't have this issue at all. But I only have just over 100 contacts so I'm wondering if possibly your Curve was still 'digesting' all 700 contacts when you were trying to get to a specific contact (if you tried it immediately after syncing). I have noticed a slight lag sometimes when it is organizing calendar information that I synched. I'm just thinking that if each of your 700 contacts had nearly every field completed (name, multiple phone #s, addresses, company, multiple emails, etc.) it might take the device several minutes to sort and populate each field properly before being able to accurately display requested information. Just a thought, at least you have it working now.
