Motorola RAZR2 V9 / V9x

was thinking about getting a v9, its been out for awhile so why is there no oem cases for it? i have always liked motos but cant understand why moto is not up to speed. is this all part of a bigger problem with moto

Just an fyi, the z9 is coming out. It basically is the v9 but in a slider form. Its on my prcing guide and it was also discussed on one of my conference calls about upcoming devices.

Has anyone had any problems reported to them about their phone? When I'm talking to someone, they will say that my voice will randomly drop off and will be quiet and muffled, as if I had put them on speaker phone and walked away. I can notice a slight difference on my end, but they still sound the same. This problem usually only lasts a little while, but is still cause for concern. I have exchanged for a new one and had ATT download an update to my phone and nothing has fixed it.

Which should I get?

Has anyone had this device just shutoff on them , Its happend to me twice and then sometimes the screene just goes black . Just wondering if anyone else has had these issues.

Currently I have a V3xx gunmetal from ATT (obviously) and I've only had the phone for 2 months and it's already crapping out on me. The hang up button doesn't work and the hinge is getting loose. So my question is, should I get the Razr 2 or should I just send my xx in for the manufacturer's warranty. I'm afraid the same would happen with the new phone....

I just got the phone today and thus far and less than thrilled. I make my own ringtones and they have worked on EVERY AT&T phone prior to this. Some are up to 45 seconds long and i have never had a problem even with the little cheapy phones. This phone however will not allow me to use any more than 20 seconds(which is all of 10 out of my 150). I also dont know how to get ringtones to not only work for a certain person when they call but also when they text. Any suggestions? is this possible or is it a lost cause? The phone is cool but i am about to take it back! If someone could let me know!!! 😡

I have MPT Ver 4.5.6a. In the phone list, I don't see Razr2V9, but just RazrV9. Is that the samething?

I went ahead and picked it anway. Its connected and I can update my contacts, etc. One thing I noticed, in the phone there is an option to put the contact in a certain category. The software doesnt have that option.

Also, there is an option to enter birthday for a contact. Will the phone automatically remind me when its a birthday for that certain person? Thanks in advance.

i know i might be alittle crazy when it comes to keeping my screens prestine, but has anyone else noticed if they have dust under their front screen. it is easier to see it in the sunlight. i didnt notice it at first because i always used it inside but when i was outside i saw it clearly. any one else?

Does anyone know how to read and respond to text messages on the front screen. Its says on the letter from moto that it can do it.

If you compare them, what is the difference REALLY? Compare them. The xx has more memory, the v9 has more phone book capacity. Other than a bigger external and a little different design, what does the v9 have on the v3xx? Why would you buy the v9 at $299 when you can get the v3xx at $99? Can someone please explain that to me...

ive been needing a new phone for 3 years now and i was really hyped for this one. Will it be worth it to spend 200 on it?

I transfered some MP3's to my v9, but the songs arent in the same order as they are on my computer and original CD? why is that and how do I fix it?

OK... the phone is great as far as the menu and camera, but I have never owned a Razr before... are they all this way?

- My battery, with average text/phone use and minimal web use barely makes it through the day. Anyone know if this is normal?

- Signal is so so.

- Voice quality on the regular phone is excellent but the speakerphone SUCKS.

Is this all me or do I have a defective phone? Anyone experience anything different?

Is the Vxx actually better at basic phone stuff?
