Motorola RAZR2 V9 / V9x

Hi, I was just wondering if the V9 can customize each contacts message tones too? I remember the V8 did that, and I was just wondering if the V9 does that too?

So I broke the charger port on my v9 (where you plug the charger in to the phone) and I've been told I have to solder it back on? Has anyone ever done this, or have insturctions on how to?
Please help, I just bought this phone 2 weeks ago, and I paid alot, I want it fixed!

Any ATT folks know if the V9x will return back to ATT.com or is this the end of its cycle? The local ATT store employees communicated they have the V9x in stock now and are not aware of its impending removal? Thank you!

Hi I just recently got my ph, and the guy at the store told me i could transfer movies to my memory card and then play them on my ph. Now I have been able to put some short videos on my ph but no movies!!! any ideas how??

Anyone know how this JuiceCaster application works? I know the Flutter thing they have is good for iPhones, but what about the RAZR -- does it still work right for unlimited picture messages and video to web postings?

Does anyone know how to turn off the camera sound altogether? I find them very annoying and sometimes need to be discreet. Thanks in advance.

I am with the AT&T network. There are Graphite black colored unlocked V9 phones for sale on Ebay and the internet. Will there be a problem setting up the web browser? Any other problems??

anyone had problems with a watermark in the center of the screen. if so what was your resolution and is it covered under warrenty?

I dont know what I am doing wrong or if the damn phone is being goofy. I have made a mp3 ringer for the phone as I have with all my other phones. I then open up MY Computer and go to the J drive that lists phones files etc. I then copy the damn ringer to the music file and now I can't find it on the phone..geesh. I had no problem adding entire songs to the phone but now the ringer just won't go. Yes I have plenty of room on memory card too. Any ideas?? Now I know why I didnt want another Motorola. LOL I never had these issues with my Nokias. Am I being stupid and not doing something right here or what??? Any ideas???

I just got the v9 and I ordered Moto Phone Tools cause I want to get online using my phone.
I have a Bluetooth adapter and I can connect to my phone with Phone Tools but I can't figure out how to us the phone as a modem.

I have AT&T service. Could someone help me? I thought I would be able to use the data connection but it doesn't seem so. It wants to dial-up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I turned on the privacy mode on a contact that was saved to the sim card and now i can't figure out how to turn it off. The only reason i turned it on was so that it wouldn't show twice in my phone book, as i had it saved also to my phone so that i could have a ring tone for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! 🙂

I heard that your able to access your contacts via the external screen, so can you make a call while phone is closed.

I'm going to have to switch carriers soon as my Sprint account does not reach my work place (I'm right on an international border and I constantly hit foreign cells resulting in very expensive calls). Enough of this crap though....

I'd really appreciate someone walking me through the voice dial procedure on this phone as voice dial is one of my most critical requirements. Presently, I have a Samsung MMA900 and it works like this:

* I open the phone
* The babbling phone lady says, "say a command"
* I say, "call Joe"
* The babbling phone lady says, "which number"
* I say, "mobile" or "home" or "whatever"
* The babbling phone lady dials the number

I'd like to use a class 6 - 4GB MicroSDHC card from A data in my new V9 for ATT.

My retailer and another store I checked with both claim that the V9 works with the higher capacity MicroSDHC cards with up to 32GB capacity (when available - 8GB is the largest currently shipping), however Motorola only will say the V9 works with MicroSD cards made by SanDisk with a maximum capacity of 2GB - pointing me to buy from them the "supported" 2GB card that they sell for $75 - like that will ever happen since the market price for them is more like $20. On the other hand they won't say that a MicroSDHC card won't work either.

Has anyone tried to use a 4GB MicroSDHC card and if so did you get the full capacity and expected speed?

The moto z9, pretty much the v9 but in a slider form will have gps!!! they are going to start putting gps in alot of there new phones that come out. not just pdas!!!
