Sprint Release Date & Price Confirmed
I just got an email from Sprint confirming the September 4th release date and a Retail price of $399.99(It will be $249.99 for new customers or customers with a rebate eligibility of 22+ mos.).

Also, the ic602 comes out September 30th along with the replacement of the current RAZR color of nickel to stone grey. The U727 by Novatel with Rev A and GPS and 1/3 of the size will be available Sept. 30th also.

Because I'm not a Sprint Customer, I work at a Sprint Store. I got an email called The Playbook which tells us what's going to be happening the coming months as far as rate plans and other things. I work for Sprint but I wouldn't be caught dead with any CDMA carrier. AT&T ****s on all U.S. carriers. It also helps that I don't pay **** for my phone and have unlimited everything. And I can swap it to any phone I want for free as long as it hasn't been 90 days.

Im very interested in getting this phone with Alltel but I see nobody with any information or even mentionin alltel in this forum. I am currently not with any cellphone company. I use to have Cingular and I think that Cingular has the BEST service compared with Alltel, Sprint, and Suncom. I have had an alltel phone and its GREAT but i dont like calls that drop (not alot like once every few weeks) and sprint drops alot. Cingular never dropped and had great reception. But i want this phone or the LG VX9400 frm verizon. Please give me some information on this for concernin Sprint, Alltel, Verizon, Cingular, and Suncom.

personally unless Bell or Alltell get this for me theres no point to get it on verizon. My hope that there will be a hack of some sort for the firmware so i can swap out the Verizon UI and included java in the mix.

Im really wanting this from Verizon but I hate there UI to the fullest point. I want it from Alltel if it will have the Motorola UI. Does anybody know if it will? When it hits sprint will it have their UI or not? Because I dont want none of there UI buts Motorola's UI and that is all. And what is the Release date for Alltel?

There is no release date for ANY carrier at this point. Every single date you've seen so far is a guess. That being said, word on the street is Alltel will have it the first week of September. Only time will tell.

You'll be able to flash the Verizon V9m with Alltel's firmware once it's leaked, but you can't buy the phone from Alltel and activate it on Verizon's network. The ESN will be from an Alltel phone, so Verizon will likely reject itt.

Well Im tired of seeing different dates. Why cant it be like the Iphone (which I dont like because its useless) and go on and say the REAL date for all the carriers because I am tired of waiting so patiently. Dammit. loL. I have no cell phone at this point, but what company (Alltel, Sprint, Verizon, Cingular, or Suncom) do you think is the best because I want to be certain.
