What is the Verizon release date?
Can anyone tell me what is the actual Verizon release date? Everything I have read says September, but I see some posts stating 8/22. What is the truth?

Sometime is September is correct. Verizon has yet to give an exact release date and as of this writing has not even shown up in Verizon's reseller equipment guide which is used to give information on upcoming releases. Aug 22nd is just for Sprint's telesales and web sales release. any other info contrary to this information would be a misprint.

From what I've been reading, 8/22 is the Sprint release date and verizon is supposed to release in Sept. But I did just take a look at the Cnet review for the Verizon version and it does also say 8/22. So I am not sure.
I have a question on the displays though. Seems the V9m only has 65k colors, but still 240 x 320 pixels. What's worse, more colors and low res, or high res and low colors? Reason I ask is that I tried the 8700 for a while and I loved the screen, which has both high colors and high res. But I also tried the Samsung U740 which has low res and high colors, which I hated. What should I expect?

I've already answered this exact same question half a dozen times in the past week alone on this forum. This question was asked several times ON THE VERY FIRST PAGE. Get off your lazy butt and READ. SEARCH.
