Verizon Razr2 V9M release
Launch date for phone is August 29th online and September 4th in stores as stated in the Verizon Wireless Launch Package on Equipment Guide. So all of your childish arguing got you nowhere.

You have an inside track on when the ROKR Z6m is going to be released as well?

hammey, I'm looking for a new phone too and the RAZR2 and Z6TV have both been catchin my eye. Which of the two do you prefer, and why? lol thanks for the help

Well, my biggest requirements are form/function and performance. I have an LG8300 now which has pretty much throttled all others for VZW. I tried multiple 9400's and 8700's which could not stand up at all to the 8300 for battery life and call quality. So they went back.
I don't wear a belt holster so I want something smaller that would fit better in my pocket. So the form factor of the new and old RAZR's have been appealing but they just didn't have the battery life that I needed.

I don't really like Motorola at all so I prefer neither of the new ones coming out (V9M, Z6TV, or Q9M), however the Z6TV is kinda interesting. I'll check today if they've updated a release date on the Z6, but last time I checked there was none.

Well if you don't like Moto then the 9400 was a great phone with the exception of battery life. The stated stand-by was somewhere in the area of forever 🤣 but I was really lucky to get 2+ days of really light use. The features (music and TV) worked very well. TV was surprisingly clear and didn't really experience any issues. If you don't mind charging daily or every other day then the 9400 would be a great phone to go with, IMO.

I'm a PDA person. I have an employee line of an LG-VX8700 but I currently use my Treo 700p for daily use. Just waiting to get more hands on time with the 6800 or i760 before finally making my decision on my personal line.
And as for the Z6TV launch, there are no details on it yet. Rest assured, as with all recent launches on Verizon equipment, I'll have the release information available when I get it.

Alright thanks. I guess I'll just have to test out both before I buy. BTW, I have a Samsung A950 now which is pretty much the same technology as Verizon's current phones (save for the screen)
