Great Phone!! For all of you high tech gooo rooosss, get a life!!!! It works great, sounds quality is awesome from Verizon. For a business man just taking on the phone it works for me!! Plus its strong and stylish. Only draw back back for people who like all thoses extra things on phones is that the camera on the phone should have a flash. Thats it. Remeber it is a PHONE!! Not your life!!! Great JOB MOTOROLA!!!

I say verizon 1/2 assed it... the speaker phone sucks (not loud enough) also the ability to call from the outside w/it closed using the menus, the damn thing talks in a whisper! when are you in a dead silent room? also the Micro-USB port is a joke, the little flap thingy is crap design and no one has a micro-usb cable yet! and yea, no flash...

Yep I agree the VZW version is definitely not up to the hype. Before I got the phone, I kept hoping it would do this and that, according to all capabilities that the phone was meant to handle. But in reality, it is really all about form over function.
I ultimately end up comparing every new phone I try to my old LG 8100. It's an old phone, over 2 years old, but it has most of the bells and whistles that I like.
Are you planning to return the phone? I am thinking of returning it and getting the new Chocolate. Either that or just going back to my LG and wait for the new Rokr. If I can't wait, I may end up getting an unlocked Sony Ericsson W580i (slider phone, some are saying is the Chocolate killer) and switching to Tmobile.

also; I can't set txt ringers by person on my v9m wtf... they ruined it!

Keep us posted on what you find that you like. I'm trying to make a decision and the phones that are due out soon don't really interest me all that much!

its the best of the worst. all the VZW phones currently are crap... the only reason I am with them is CDMA voice quality.
