Seriously, this has been covered 1,000 times. No, you CANNOT look at texts on the front screen with the Verizon V9m's current firmware. We weren't lying the other 1,000 times. I see no need for this thread.

If you want to read texts on the outside screen, either wait for a firmware update or flash your phone to the USCC firmware. Personally, I don't see what the big deal is. It's not that hard to open a phone. You have to open it to reply to them, anyway.
