Sanyo Katana DLX

I am trying to play my voice recordings on my computer. Are there any programs that will convert the .uvo files to something playable with windows media player?

I have this phone and for some reason all of a sudden all picture mail i recieve it doesn't save it to MICRO SD Card it saves it in My Content - My pictures folder. I tried several times but it wont go over 50 pictures even though its "AUTO SAVE" to SD CARD. The SD card is for 1GB... took it to Sprint techs and can't figure out why? however tech support says its not the phone its just the way the phone is ?
Any ideas ?

I'd like to hook up stereo earphones, or my car stereo to my DLX, to use it as a music player, but I'm having trouble finding a headset adapter that works properly.

I have a normal 1/8" to 3/32" stereo adapter I bought at radio shack, but when it's plugged in all the way, I only get the right channel. I have to pull it out just slightly before I get both left and right.

I also picked up a Shure MPA-2B adapter, which has the third ring, so it can transmit microphone signal, but that has the same problem as the stereo adapter -- I need to pull it out just a tiny bit to get stereo out of it.

Is the headset jack somehow proprietary, or have I just been unable to find the right adapter to get? Anyone know what that adapter might be?

Just got the phone today. i'm use to a treo 755p. Can I unlock any think or hack any thing similar to what I could do to my treo? Any help would be much apreciated?

Is Gmail available for the DLX?
What about Opera?
And will it with with the Sprint navigation?

Is there a way to move over my phone book list from my old Samsung A900 to this one?

Hey all i just recently got a sanyo katana dlx and am having a hellova time finding a case for it, all that seems to be out there is for the katana and katana II, does anybody know where i can find a clamshell case for this phone preferably pink or black? any assistance would be greatly appreciated, thanks everybody!

i noticed that the Katana 1 says Qualcomm 3g on the battery cover. sooooooo if the Katana DLX has EV-DO r.0 is that necessarily 3g, or are the two not even related? and whats the difference in its upload and download speeds???? i need a phone that my kiosk sells, and i don't want a razr or upstage. this seems like the only suitable option.

Sprint TV compatable?
Can I transfer my music via microsd? Or do I have to use sprint music store for my music?

And last, I read a review about someone who had a problem with the T9 texting, something about not letting you scroll through the next word or something, anyone else have a problem with this?

I put some music on my microsd card and tried to play it on the phone. It plays, but the duration doesn't show, and I can't fast forward and go back..

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I have a Mac, does that makea difference?

I haven't placed my order yet as waiting for contract to end with Verizon Wireless.

I know the Katana DLX is thicker at the top than the bottom.

So with the extended battery and cover will it be even top to bottom or will the bottom be thicker than the top?

Can anybody suggest if there are other car chargers from 3rd party shops that is compatable with the DLX? I can't stomach paying 30 bucks for it.

I have no real complaints about this phone other than the fact that bluetooth reception is absolutely horrid compared to the Samsung and POS Motorolas I've owned in the past. I've tried it with three different headsets, and each time the person on the other end says they can barely hear me and that I'm cutting out. This happens no matter how close the phone is to the headset.

Things are even worse when I try to run stereo bluetooth output to my Sony-Ericsson DS970. The sound is not only tinny and choppy, but it will cut out for seconds at a time. Not to mention that, for some reason, the music player won't play certain MP3s that always played fine on my M1.

What gives, Sanyo?

those are the memory specfications for the DLX, yet we can access only 32MB. So, if the firmware takes up 96MB, and it needs 96MB RAM, thats more than what a Windows Mobile PPC w/ 64MB RAM would need.
