What format do you need to put songs into and load them on your memory card in order to use them as ringers on your phone?

On my 8400 you can't put ringers on the card and use them on the phone. The ringers have to be in the phone on it's internal memory and there AAC or MP3. As far as I know.

You can't use ringers off of the memory card. You need to go to places like SprintUsers.com and use the uploader to send them to your phone.

I noticed the same thing... although I must say I was very disappointed because my MM-5600 could use ringers from the memory card no problem. I think there might be sites that you can use to upload a file and have it download to your phone for free to be used as a ringer.

Yeah same BS as the 8400 which I have now. One day there'll be a proper phone that lets you set your ringtone to an mp3 on your memory card. 👿
