Sanyo Katana DLX
KATANA DLX is it better than the LG muziq
I was at the sprint store today and i saw both phones. i dont know what to go for. any help????

it all depends on what you want. i've seen them both, i've played with them both. same with the predecessors, thought even comparing the katana to the katana dlx is apples and oranges...
i personally would go with the musiq. it's a lot nicer than i expected it to be! i have the fusic, and the upgrades were definitely nice. with the musiq you can multitask while listening to mp3's (can't do that on a fusic âšī¸) and the fm transmitter, muy bueno đ

DLX all the way, Sanyo only makes phones for sprint and thay tweek them for us. (Sprint)

I just got a Muziq through the insurance replacement program (replaced a Sanyo MM-9000) and the Muziq absolutely SUCKS. I hope I just got a bad one, but I'm going to make sure I get a Sanyo phone and send this one back.

Well I got the Champaign DLX and WOW what a difference! This phone is way way WAY better than the Muziq. Right out of the box you can tell the build quality, and materials are far better. The battery lasted for 3 days off the initial charge (with bluetooth and GPS enabled). This phone feels solid and everything functions great. I bought a 2GB MicroSD card and loaded 120 songs on it so far. My only regret is my choice of color, I should've gotten the Silver. The Champaign looks kind of pink in some situations.

The FM transmitter on the muziq sucks, I tried it with a car radio, and it was a lot of static coming thru the speakers, even with the muziq DUCT TAPED Onto the unit.
Also, if you go into roaming, while running sprint music store, and the fm transmitter, presumably on the country side, sprint music store will not work because it cannot access the data features. So no music player.
The DLX on the other hand has its own File Manager , so you can play music files on it without the need for the sprint music store.
