Tethering with sprint?
Can this phone be used to tether with sprint? I would have the 500 minute unlimited data SERO plan...bluetooth, wired, or both for tethering?
...
what exactly are you trying to tether? bluetooth equipment or multiple phone service? please clarify.

TO use with my notebook and/or desktop...I don't necessarily NEED to download lots of large files and for the occasional low-bandwidth browsing it would give me the possible option of getting rid of my DSL...

i see what your saying now. have you thought about an aircard? or depending on your area AIR RAVE may be available to you, it'll use your existing DSL/CABLE connection and it'll booste your CDMA signal around the house, turning your cell phone into like a portable home phone, this then would not be using your day time minutes as long as you remain home on the call, once you would leave while still on the phone it'll change from your home base to your nearest towers. this being said, you could use your phone as a modem at home!! this will reduce time between applications via bluetooth or other connection. or you cuold just get an extra line for an aircard and have sprint as your internet service. whichever you choose. hope this is helpful.

If I'm not mistaken I think derek1934 was asking about phone as a modem. The phone does allow for phone as a modem but I forget if the SERO plan includes it. If you were able to use it with other phones then you should also be able to use the PAM with bluetooth and/or cable.
