HTC Touch (CDMA) / XV6900

I downloaded a trial version of Spb Pocket Plus and am having trouble uninstalling it. I have re-loaded it, uninstalled and soft reset the phone but it will not completely go away! I still see it's icons and my task manager goes away. Or, I see two battery icons at the top of the Today screen. Any ideas how to completely get rid off this.

i read somewhere that you have to download a certain .CAB file in order to get this working correctly, can anyone help me out?

i have yet to play with a live touch, but i have seen that there is IM links on the phone, just wondering if AIM is one of the IM programs available

i know that you can't get ring tones from sprint.com...but you can make your own (view the post about ringtones below this one). what i need to know is where to get call tones from. the ones where ppl hear a song when they call you... is it done through sprint's servers or what? i miss my ray charles "i got a woman"

Sprint's website says that "Up to 4GB cards supported and available for purchase." Does the Touch not support SDHC?

I'm on my second Touch replacement and it is still having the same issue of going into sleep mode and never coming out of it. Is anyone else having the same issue?

I recently purchased Microsoft Voice Command and installed it on my Touch. I can launch any app even using my Blue Tooth headset. However, I am having one major issue. I can ask it to dial one of my numbers in my contact list and it correctly finds the entry. However it does not dial the number. It finds the entry then beeps and the app goes away. Has any one had a similar problem?

Ok, so I loaded a gig of MP3s off my computer, and for some reason, I have about 20 songs that show up as "Unknown" for the artist, album, and even song title. All that shows up is the file name. I've tried everything to get those stupid tags to update and nothing seems to work. I edit the tags with dbpoweramp...nope. Edit them with WMP on the pc and recopy them back on the card...nope.

What I think is happening is the Sprint music store scans a file for the first time and logs the file signature with the ID tags at that moment into an archive or XML file somewhere on the device memory. So no matter what you change the ID tags or even the FILE NAME to, it still shows up the same way it originally did in the song list. This is so annoying...

Why cant I download a music ringtone from the spirnt store from this phone?

Also Im trying to download pictures. They told me to take the picture and then click on upload picture. I dont see this when I take a picture. Can anyone help please

i just HAD to come over here and look at this thing as a friend told me that sprint has come up w/ their own iphone clone. OH MANNNNNN!!!!! It's even uglier than i imagined!!!! The eurasian knockoffs were actually closer to competing w/ the iphone but all in all NO phone can compete with it, especially that stupid looking Navigator that VZW crapped out. What you feeble minded morons don't realize is that the iphone wasn't meant to compete with PDA phones. First and foremost it's a widescreen IPOD.....THAT'S IT!

AT&T #1 with a bullet

I am getting an error message when attempting to play mp3s. It does not affect all of the mp3s on my phone and the files used to play. Below is the error message.

"The file "" cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.

I have removed the files and replaced them with no success. the icon changed from the Windows media icon to a windows generic icon.

i received my touch last monday and the phone has went black and turned off 6 or 7 times. the only way to turn it on is to take the battery out and reinstall it. sometimes i have to plug the charger in to get it started. i also noticed that the charging icon never goes down or shows that it is losing power.i am confused...please help ...if u can.

Can some one help? My Outlook sends fine on my pc but not on my touch w/ WM6. The send/receive isn't enabled in the options menu in Outlook, but is for yahoo, hotmail, etc.

I have downloaded and synced the HTC Audio Manager over to my Sprint Touch. In file explorer I click on the exe file and it opens up but does not install. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And just wanted to know what should i change or mod out?.
I have never owned a smartphone/pda/blackberry etc and realy dont know where to start.
Im coming from a lg Muziq and from the lg Fusic before that.Im realy concerned that my music will not play (i import alot of music from records thru my stereo reciever to my PC with Nero 8 and have a hard time with my current phone the Muziq to recocgnize it coz of damm sprint music stor player) and just wonderring if i can delete sprint music store or bypass it with my mp3s to play on windows media player.Also where to go and how to download/work the 3rd party apps for the touch.

Realy wanting to master this phone and all its potential.

Is the charging port a regular mini USB port, or is there something special about it? I already have a mini USB car charger and I'm hoping it will work on the Touch when I get it next month.

Furthermore the MSM7500 chipset has built-in A-GPS capabilities which have not been utilized or even mentioned anywhere within the official Sprint Touch documentation. Will this capability be activated? Your comments?

I just don't get it! Why would the designers / engineers / market researchers / manufacturers / retailers -- who have brought us what sounds like an excellent phone -- make the decision to omit an LED flash from the Touch camera? Many of HTC's other models (not to mention competitors) have camera flash, so why not this one?

My battery life is terrible and I have some stupid sound going off randomly that plays for maybe 5 seconds and quits. The Sprint guys can't figure it out and neither can I. Also, it locks up at least once a day and will there ever be an option to picture mail not just email a icture. I am about ready to take this back, but I really like the phone. I have 2 of them and they both lock up 1 just more than the other. Anybody HELP!!!
