how would you compare the pro's and cons of this device versus those of the Q9. I will be getting a new phone soon and have been looking at both this and the 8820

Thanks!

To me the Q9 feels like more of a quality device and more comparable in size to the 8800. Both, due to their width, seem like they would fit best in a breast pocket. On a holster or especially in your pocke I think the Q would be a bit unwiely. The Curve is a bit smaller and lighter. It feels a bit cheaper but also more like a phone that you can just toss in your pocket.
Beyond that, the Q has 3G if that is important to you. And of course the different OS - I'm not sure I want my phone to have a start button. The Blackberry OS just seems easier since the trackball was added.
