A2DP with Curve 8310 (music via bluetooth)
The Curve supports A2DP, but for some reason, when my Motorola H681 (2.0) is paired, my music plays through the speakerphone on the phone, not the bluetooth headset.
Any ideas why?

Don't think the H681 supports the A2DP profile.
The Jabra BT8040 does; it sounds great from the BlackBerry.
Interesting though, when I had the Moto Q9h, it could stream music to other headsets that did not mention supporting A2DP.
Like the WEP500, H700B and the H800.

From what I'm being told, it's the phone (Curve) that does not support A2DP to a bluetooth headSET (only to bluetooth headPHONES).
I'd like to confirm this, as I still have time left on my return policy date.
I've grown to love the phone, so if I can just get a different headset, that would be wonderful!

Well I don't have a bluetooth HEADSET but I do have a bluetooth enabled deck in my car and my 8310 works great with it. I can use it to talk or listen to music, however, even if its paired up, when I start the player it will automatically play thru the phone's speakers, I just go to the menu and select "activate XPLOD" (name of the deck) and it works.
