As someone who runs a T-mobile kiosk in the middle of a shopping mall. Not only is it our most popular phone, but it's the pioneer of messaging phones. Why do you think all the other carriers started carrying messaging phones. Because the sidekick sales have been solid for going on 5 years all the way back to the orginal sidekick. T-mobile isn't stupid either they continue to keep interest level going by coming out with new models and improving the device. The sidekick ID is only $50 now making ita affordable to almost everyone.

yes da sk is the best messaging phone but the build and features suck hopefully they improved it from what i read the screen should be a million times better but let see if the browsing and music player is any better!

The screen is now 240x400 pixels. Its the best quality screen I've seen on a phone yet. The iPhone does have a nice screen but I have the iPod touch. And it just gets distorted with fingerprints. The music player is advancing. It's better than any LG on verizon. The EnV sports messaging but the music doesn't stay on if you move onto other things. The keyboard is now a perfect medium between the 2 and 3 and sports faster messaging. The trackball is better than any D-Pad. Which if you disagree. The LX has one of those too. Its all about preference. Whether you like to make things easy or hard..........

face it the only reason the sidekick sells so well is because most teen girls have a severe case of sheepinism and t mobile plans don't hurt their parent's pockets as bad as other carriers would with overages in text and web and the keyboard on the sidekick is eh and don't get me started on their build quality
