microSD card disappearing
I just got off the line with HP technical support. After some initial denials they admitted there is a known issue with no fix that the microSD card on some units will disappear intermittently and only come back with a reboot. At this time there is no fix to the issue and no time line for when there will be. Until this is resolved I would caution folks from buying this unit. I am at FW 1.03 which is current.

Ok, so I now have a better understanding of what this is doing. It has taken some time, frustration a number of support calls and a warranty return.
Don't ask me why but HP turn off the microSD card when the device is not being used. You can see this in a number of ways. In file explorer you see the location in the sort list of the Storage card change. You can also see media player looses it's place in a song being played off the microSD card. And media player also sees the microSD card as a new card and asks if you want to scan for new media when the card comes back.
When the device comes back on it remounts the microSD card. When all is well this happens quickly but sometimes it takes a bit of time, and sometimes it does not come b...
