Samsung BlackJack II SGH-i617

Can someone please tell me how to add a new APN on
my SGH-i617 where i can add the proxy and port number etc.

three times in the past two years I've had to nuke by sgh i617 due to crashes. This last time, ActiveSync tells me it's "converting" my exchange server mail certificate and all of it may not make it through to the phone. They were right. I can see the certificate in the phone file on my computer. However, I CAN'T see it on my phone and, therefore, I have no email service.

Any ideas on how to fix this would be helpful.

Is there any way to reject someone from blocking their number ?

😢 I sent a text message with a typo, "OK,see" instead of "OK, I see." I didn't notice it until it was already sent. Now my predictive text brings that up as the default every time I enter, "OK," and every time I press space, it accepts it. Is there any way to get this and other typos out of the Samsung Blackjack II predictive text dictionary? My friends really don't appreciate my cryptic messages.

If anybody could help me with this it would be terrific.

phone is locked and on boot displays "device is locked". A master reset is out of the question as there is valuable info on the phone I need to recover. I obtained 2 PUK codes from At&T according to IMEI number. I enter them and it keeps saying wrong password, and then a timer starts. What gives? Any help appreciated?

anybody know how to do a shortcut for forwarding the phone? If no shortcut is available, is there any way to keep the number that you forward it to constant?

I noticed the GPS sections of this forum are rather old.
I just got the BJ2 to replace my old BJ and was disheartened to see ATT team with Telenav to extract even more dollars from my pocket. Did a little research and found that Google has a nice mapping section for Win Mobile and found it runs on the BJ2

The one thing I found that makes it a little difficult is how ATT and Samsung control the GPS.
They turn it on with a separate app that is run in the background by "ATT Navigator" I think it is "ATT GPS". Google apparently doesn't know how to actually turn on the GPS (it will look for it forever)so you need ...

I really want to get another smartphone. I traded down from a HTC from Alltel to a Sony Ericcson w580i when I joined ATT. My favorite thing about my SE is the music player, but I NEED a qwerty keyboard. I really like everything I have heard about the Blackjack II but I cant figure out whether to buy one. I know in the features section it says it has a Media Player 10 for music, but another site I looked at says it does not have a headset jack 2.5mm or a headphone jack 3.5mm. I know his sounds really dumb, but I can't figure out how I would listen to the music. Does it have to play out loud? Or would I have to buy one of those expensive bluetooth stereo headsets. I need to print out text messages on my Black Jack II SGH-i617, can anyone tell me how to do this?

ive recently been hearing from a lot of people as well as having my own issues with getting an error message when trying to listen to or apply a new ringtone. its usally saying ringtone file corrupted...any1 know of a fix?

When i recieve pictures from my girlfriend or whoever and save them and than try to send them its says unsupported content what does that mean? and what can i do to change that so i can send pictures?? Please help!!!

i charged my phone from 5pm one night until 6am the next morning and it does not show a full charge. could there something wrong with my phone.

I have bluetooth in my car (Acura), and my previous phone (LG VX-8300) worked great with it. The Blackjack works, but the volume is very, very low as compared to the voice prompts of the car system. It was echoing badly, but the upgrade to Windows 6.1 stopped that, but didn't help the volume. Has anybody else had this problem when using bluetooth with a car? It almost seems like the signal from the phone to the car is weak.

I have two questions. #1. I bought my phone two days ago. I made two calls and both rang like 5 times then said call ended and didn't even go to the persons voice mail. I call att the next day they send updates to my phone and tell me to test it. first call i make it sounds like we are talking underwater and i hold it up to the phone and let the lady listen to it. she said try another number. so i call my work number it says its busy. which there is no way it could be. i was the only person here and no one on the phone. i call a second time and it rings. she says well the updates should help. so i hang up and my friend calls meback like a hour later and it does the same thing sounds like your underwater. question is, anyone else having th...

I just found a sgh i617 lying on the ground. It has no sim card in it, but otherwise is in perfect condition. I have at&t service so I put my sim in the phone and it came on asking my pass code which I entered. It confirmed. Then it told me to type in password to unlockphone. I tried several and no luck. I'm sure whoever tossed the phone out the window of the car (I'm guessing from location) AFTER they removed the sim (dont understand that part, probably stolen) has that password. Is there any way around it?

Does the blackjack II have a flash for the camera?

Also I am trying to decide between the blackjack II and the moto Q global. Anyone have any suggestions??
