Release Date for 'Wine Red' version

When is the release date for the Wine Red color? I've heard December 5. Can anyone confirm?

I called in to tele sales and they gave me a choice of wine red or grey...

I didn't get mine from online ultimately becuase Walmart has them in their store for 128.00 no rebates or anything.... I hate those rebates so I chose to go this way. I didn't have to even add a data plan either.
