Samsung BlackJack II SGH-i617
Internet connection issue.
Everytime I bring up the AT&T homepage, it will load partially then I'll receive an error that says:
"ERROR.
Your internet connection is not configured properly. Please verify your settings in Connections."
Here are my connection settings:
AT&T WAP
Connects From: WAP Network
Connects To: The Internet
Proxy: wireless.cingular.com:80
Type: HTTP
User name: (blank)
Password: (blank)
Any ideas on why I can't connect? I've tried switching the "From" and "To" setting to Internet and WAP Network with no avail. Just wondering if any other BJ2 owners have had the same problem.

try resetting the phone by turning it off for about 30 secs then power it right back on...if this doesnt work then there is either something wrong with the phone or the data package thats on the plan...make sure that you have a pda personal plan

I had this problem too. ended up having to change settings in Settings->Connections->Proxy->AT&T WAP:
Connects from internet
Connects to WAP network
as well as Connections->GPRS->MediaNET:
Connects to Internet
Access Point: wap.cingular
User Name: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password was starred out and i left it alone
Authentication type: CHAP
Both sets of DNS addresses were set to 0.0.0.0
I also had to go into internet explorer->tools->options->connections
Connects to WAP Network
and UNCHECK Automatically detect settings
I dunno why they couldnt just make it work outta the box, but oh well 😁
