Samsung Ace SPH-i325

Can anyone tell me what the discreet mode is for the Samsung Ace? 😲

an error appeared on screen it read "CDM aipcconf.c3123 no free buffer to pda ui."
it takes about ten mins to turn on and then i cant unlock it,seems to be like a time delay,i got new phone but need to save contact list
please help

I bought this phone thinking that I can have two phones in CDMA and GSM. But I was very much disappointed to know that you can you only one at a time. Why whould Samsung do this make a dual phone and let you use one?
Any way I like to know if I can change some settings and put both cdma and GSM on stand by and not have to restart to use either one.
I will do anything to get this done or if some one knows any other phone which is capable of getting two phones in one ie cdma and gsm to work in usa. I like to get it flashed to Cricket and put T-mobile SIM card in it.

Just got my phone yesterday.
Everything is perfect, the only thing is I cannot find GPS capability anywhere in the phone menus.

Does that phone has GPS at all?

I went to different sites, some of them say it does not, some say it does.

Does anyone know how to enable GPS on Ace

I want to use the MS Voice Command app that came with my Ace. It came installed on the phone from Sprint, MS Voice Command v 1.6.19202.

This application is not mentioned at all in the user's manual but in the Help on the phone, it says one of the first steps is to assign the "Set the Voice Command Button" but doing, Start>More>Voice Command Setup."

But when I get to the "Voice Command" Icon on my phone, there is no "set-up". There is a screen with a bunch of options, but none say anything about setting a button to activate Voice Command.

I even tried customizing the side button to "Voice Command" but all that did was take me the set-up screen of the Voice Command app as mentioned above.

Any suggestions?

How can I put this device on power save mode while charging it? I cannot find a setting to do this.

FYI: I charge the phone at night and it's very annoying for the screen to be on all the time.

I have been getting my Gmail on this phone since day one. Now all of a sudden, it has stopped downloading the messages. Every once in a while it will pull down a message but then delete it shortly after.

I have had a hard reset done on this phone twice and hate to do it again. Any sugguestions?

The pre-production model of this phone had a 3.2mp ....and we get a 1.3mp.... 🙄

I have the i607 Blackjack and am wondering if the Ace is better, or if I'm good where I'm at?
