Motorola W755 Talking caller ID
I just purchased the Motorola W755 in the Black. It states in the manual that is has the talking caller ID. If you have this phone, it's on page 36. Also page 41. They state that you can set the phone to say who is calling before it starts ringing, if you have the person in your contact list. It's called caller ID Alert.
I have done everything the book says, but when I call my cell from my home, it just rings. It doesn't say "call from Home" like it's supposed to.
Any ideas?

no, it's not just you. I have contacted Motorola, tech support for Verizon and have been to the main verizon store to see if they had software updates. I was told that Motorola dropped the ball and forgot to include that when they made the phone. They put the access to it, but didn't have the software for it. The guy said they will probably come up with a software patch for it. I hope so.

This has worked on my phone since I got it. It is under sound settings in the menu.
