when i have exchange email on my phone, it get pretty warm, and stays that way. Defective phone?

My e71x gets VERY warm after a 20 minute phone call. I notice it's the same model battery that was in my previous Nokia but that phone didn't get hot. Is this normal for this phone or will my phone exploooode? 👀
