It's really not hard to get off.. Push button and just pop it outwards... then to put back on put bottom inside holes and just pop inwards... Phone is really great though... Linux OS is awesome and fast and its the best phone i've ever owned and i've had iphone and all. Bit of a phone finatic! 😁

The battery cover does not fit snugly to the bottom edge. Mine had a large open seam, and I did not want to pay big bucks for this overlooked flaw. Other than that, this is one high quality phone (in every other way).
