Discontinued?
I look up the Pantech Slate on the list of phones for AT&T, and it says that it's discontinued. Does anyone know why? 😕
Slate's texting??
My current phone only allows me to type 160 characters for one message. I have to then send it, go through the steps to set up a new message and then text more to continue the conversation. I want to know if the Slate is capable of sending multiple paged-texts.
Any help would be awesome!
Vs. the Samsung Propel
I'm considering buying one of these 2 phones, but I'm not really sure which one. I'm leaning toward the Slate, out of sheer thin-ness, but I'd like to hear some owner reviews. Thanks!

The display is that good?
The specs say the display is not even QVGA, but the reviews are saying it is really good.
I guess I will have to check one out, but I do welcome any comments.

Slate water damage indicator turns pink without being in liquid
Bought Slate on 11/14, decided to exchange for BB Bold under 30 day try out. ATT salesperson opens the back cover to, much to my surprise, discover a pinkish dot. The phone had not been wet, yet the dot had changed color. Long story short, I'm stuck in 2 year agreement because ATT will not take back insurance supplied new Slate.
The phone may have been in steamy bathroom is the closest we can figure out as far as moisture. If the phone was that sensitive, there should be a warning on the package. Had lots of phones in much wetter conditions and never had an issue like this.
thanks
OS ?
is this the same Operating System that is on the pantech c3b?

This phone rocks!
I just posted my review, 5 stars!
Great Look
Im on verizon, but I love the look of this phone. More companies need to make candy bar qwerty's that are NOT smartphones. A lot of people just want the look of berries and WM devices, but without the data plan. This phone fits the bill.
And not qwerty dumbphones need to be sliders or have weird keypads.
Im hoping this phone sells well so that other companies will follow suit.
Looks like...
a real nice calculater 🤣
over in the "AT&T Fires Off Four Messaging Devices" discussion:
Gotta give it to At&t
There finally coming out with non PDA phones that cover diffrent customer needs.
Pantech Breeze = Old People
Samsung Rugby = Construction workers
Pantech Matrix (all new qwerity phones) = Teeny boppers/ message alholics
PDA = Buisness People/ Techkys
