Hey,
Is there anyway to cut and paste in this phone? Sometimes, it works to hold the key down but if I am inside a web page and want to copy a URL, I cannot find a way to do that?

Is there a way to turn on the speaker phone when accessing voice messages from Visual Voice Mail?

There is a "Review" posted today with a negative comment concerning accessing Voice Mail and the Action Key Menu which covers the Keypad after accessing Voice Mail.
I hope I understood the author's post correctly.
I agree that the Action Key Menu covering the Keypad presents difficulty entering the required password to access Voice Mail.
Here is what I did which does NOT require me to enter the Voice Mail Password. The Password is entered automatically for me.
Locate the Speed Dial List and highlight Speed Dial #1 which contains *86 which is the Voice Mail Access number.
Select "Menu" and then select "Edit" to edit the entry at Speed Dial #1. Add to the *86 this:

ppxxxxp#

The xxxx is your password to access Voice Mail. p's are...

Can you turn off the predictive text feature? I was using this phone in a store and found it really irritating. I just want to be able to type without seeing all the "guesses" the phone has for what I'm typing. Thanks in advance for any help.

I want to run customized macros to collect data in the field using 'buttons' and 'pull-down' lists on the touch screen and wondered if anyone had tried doing anything like this with this phone.

I am currently looking into using Z4Soft PTab spreadsheet software that has macro capability but wondered if there are other applications that might be better.

Ideally I am trying to link data about location and condition against photos taken either with the built-in camera or with an external device and then synchronized.

Any thoughts or advice? Thanks

Notification Question
I love my Omnia had it for about a week but I'm having an annoying issue and I need help. I have a few contacts I put in as emergency contacts so even if the phone is locked they can be notified. However, whenever I call them I constantly get a popup notice about they can only be called during an emergency and also a red pop-up too. I can make the call but the notice keeps bugging me and I have to dismiss the notice each time. I have tried everything and you can't take them off of the emergency list. Help please.

I found a program that is supposed to add flash capability (flash lite 2.1) to this phone. It is called Skyfire. Has anyone used it? I hesitate to try it because it warns about putting it on thw wrong phones. They list the hardware/software that is required, but I am not sure this phone fits that diescription.

I had something odd happen. I turned my phone off and plugged it in over night. The next morning, the phone was very hot. When I turned it on, the battery was uncharged. What happened? I left it on, plugged it back in, and it charged just fine.

Anyone found a good java or j2me client for this phone? I need a java client so I can run gmail for mobile.

For some reason, I thought my Omnia was able to record an incoming call or some portion thereof.
I must be wrong because I have not found a way to do that function.
I can record "Notes" but incoming calls?????

hi, I'm looking for any info on how to add a language on my omnia. the phone is in English, but I'd like it to be able to read and understand Russian too, just like the computer - i type in English and then Shift+Alt and i type in Russian...
can't find anything anywhere.... please help! any suggestions will be appreciated! 😁

Has anyone had success with the google map? I downloaded it fine. However, it is not searchable. When the window opens to type a search place, the keyboard is not functional. ?

interface on this phone? I'd get this phone if I could install a decent ui for it.

How can one move between next and previous email messages without exiting to the main email list and selecting the next or previous message?

I tried to use the left and right arrows in the keypad but they only switched between the 9 pages of symbols.

Does anyone know if there is a way (or registry hack) that will allow me to lock the widgets in place once I have made my layout. I am always dragging them around whenever I tap them and I want them to stay put.

Many of you may have read mixed opinions on the quality of the Omnia camera. To me I think its one of the best camera phones out there. you be the judge.

While they are not Canon Rebel quality, I do think they are of the best any camera phone can take today.

I am having an issue receiving SMS messages. I get the sound and the alert on the screen, but when I go into inbox (which shows I have 1 unread) there is nothing there. I am not able to pull it up and have to delete everything to get it to remove the unread # from the inbox.

does any one know of a better slide to unlock program be cause the one found on freeware pocket pc doesnt work properly with the accelerometer.
