can you send and recieve pic texts with this phone

I recently bought an i700 and would like to figure out how to use voice dialing. I've read references to this feature and see a note in the instruction manual, but no directions as to how to set it up or use it. Does anyone know the secret? 😉

I just got my i700 and am having a hard time with the ear piece. I want to make calls without having to get the phone out. Is there a way to do this? My old phone, I would just push the button on the earpiece and say the name I want to call and off I went. I have looked on the cds that came with it and can't find anything.

Looking again at the reviews for this phone, I've come to the conclusion that tangoskiss must have reviewed a completely different model.

The SPH-i700 does not, as far as I can tell, have any speakerphone capability. This is, in my opinion, the phone's one glaring oversight.

Next, you can certainly send a picture via email, in fact there's an icon on the bottom of the screen when you view a picture that pops the picture into a new message as an attachment, ready for you to address and send.

Finally, I have setup three (3) POP3 mail accounts on my SPH-i700. The software is all there and ready to go.

ON PHONESCOOP IT SAYS IT DOESNT HAVE THESE!! IS THIS CORRECT???

I have my i700 for several years now, its been a learning experience.....for some reason the sound of the phone dies, thanks to the extended warranty one call takes care of that, but is seems to me that the earpiece plug-in has something to do with it, I use a Bluetooth adapter, (I wish Samsung had installed one in the phone!)...when it is taken out to be recharged it leaves "something" pressed inside the jack hole that makes the phone believe that it is still on, my question is does anyone had heard of this problem? Has Samsung released any updates for a Bluetooth upgrade? please advice

Trying to stream audio through my i700. Can't figure it out. I'm on verizon service and would like to stream breaksfm.com. If some one could give me detailed instructions it would be much appreciated. Thanx

Alright, I just ordered one of these off of eBay and I'm not sure if it has WM 2003 installed. It's for Verizon Wireless but as they have discontinued it, the update is no longer available on their website. Does anyone know how I could obtain this upgrade either from VZW or elsewhere?

Has anyone tried to DL messages from a Gmail account? besides havig it set up to work for POP it only gives me a Error Message of not able to DL messages... any suggestions?

I have the SPH-i700 with Verizon. Does anyone know, if it can be upgraded to Pocket PC 2003? If so, when will the upgrade be available, and how can I get it?

That's right folks if you used your "regular" minutes to connect to the web, and your provider is Verizon, you won't be able to connect to the web, the only way is now through a DATA plan, which is going to be either $59.99 for the Broadband and $44.99 for the National coverage around 144 kbps of speed. This is really a low blow for those of us that did not expect the extra expense.

Recently a pop up window showed on my i700 saying: "Dog.C 695 watchdog time out monitor 280017C mask 21F43DFF" I have no idea what is this, I don't have any virus scanner on board or anything alike, has anyone seen this before? Please advice!

I'm most likely behind the times 🤭 , but trying to get the Pocket PC 2003 upgrade for my i700. I've seen the fact that Verizon has it available for US clients, but I'm in Canada under Telus Mobility, they have discontinued the phone. Anybody know where I can get the upgrade? Also, once that is complete, I'd like to get Microsoft Voice Command which seems to be interesting. Any comments on Voice Command would also be appreciated!

Has anyone come across 3rd party software that allows the phone ringtone/ringer to be played throught the earpiece/headset if plugged in?

I find it very annoying that the ringtones are played through the speaker even though the headset is plugged in...cant tell you how many calls Ive missed in my car because I had the window down.

This is too easy of a problem to fix to NOT have some software written for it.

I inherited an i700 and I'm interested in using it on the MetroPCS cellular network.

Can I use it directly with MetroPCS (just register & give them the ESN?

or does the i700 need to be UNLOCKED?

Where can I get information about unlocking the i700?

I am selling mine on ebay right now, in very good condition.
