lgs vx-4400b vs. vx-4500, or neither?
i'm trying to decide between two lg phones, the vx-4400b, and the vx-4500 which is supposed to be released at the end of the month. my main goal is to have a phone and service with clarity and quality. i like gadgets and features, but i don't particularly want a camera phone. the main difference i see between these two phones is the 4500 has a speaker-phone, and the 4400 is tri-mode. i live and spend most of my time in new york metro area, but i do some traveling to secluded parts of new england in the summers. how important is it to have tri-mode? and does anyone have any other suggestions on which phone i should get? i'm switching from sprint to verizon.

Well, hate to say I'm looking for the same answer. Feature wise they're real close. Played with both in the store and both seemed to work fine. After reading reviews here I'll have to look for the specific 'defects' in each phone.
on the 4400 reviews there are a lot of 'dropout' complaints - but they were all old reviews. Did the 4400b fix a lot of problems?
I'll let you know which I choose

Issues with dropped calls? I've had mine for over a year and is the best phone I've ever had, hands down. Make sure you have the latest software, which I believe is v10. I've been on v8 for months and don't lose calls.
