2G vs. 3G
Is the 3G signal selectable or will it ALWAYS jump to the 3G. I stopped using 3G phones for this reason a few yrs ago. I would constantly have 0-1 bars of 3G and my other phones would have 5 bars edges(2G)..... Any help here would be appreciated as I really want the iPhone!

you should be able to disable the 3G connectivity through the settings.
go to settings, general, network, and Enable 3G and turn it off..not sure if it is for the 3G iphone though because i have the 3gs.
