Motorola Debut i856

So out of the blue my phone freezes.
If the SIM card is in the phone will get all the way to the main screen. From there it just freezes. Doesn't respond to anything.
With the SIM out all the keys still work.

Also when you try to shut it off, with the SIM card it freezes are "Powering down".

This really ticks me off since I paid $100 for it and I can't afford a new unit.

It says there's one, but I'm not seeing it? 🤨

Finally a nice Large screen. I think this will be a cool phone. I winder if Best Buy will sell these.

i'm planning to get a Motorola Debut i856..but i was wondering if i record a son and the want to place it as a ringtone can i do that? or do i have to download it?

i have an older nextel and i have to wait for my texts to download.. is this phone the same way? or do they automaticaly open?

I have the Nextel I856 and looking to download the ROAMING ICON that appears when you leave your home area. I know that Nextel does not have roaming, but when you leave your home area this icon will appear the icon looks like this ^ . I've had this added on all my previous Nextel. The sales person had no idea what I was talking about. Please help.

i know some of the oost phones dont have aim so does this phone have it?

I've been DYING for a phone from Boost with truly threaded text messages. The Debut seems to be the only one listed on PhoneScoop that indicates this phone has "threaded" text messaging. It was kind of typed in there, looking a little like an afterthought... This is literally the selling point for me.

Does this phone have truly threaded text messages? "Chat" style? "IM" style?
