I just spoke to a Verizon rep regarding my

When I was inquiring about it, they kept telling me they will not have it in their store. That I had to go to an outside source. They weren't giving much hope selling it in the stores. So I got it elsewhere, and I've had it for a good 3 weeks or so. Glad I didn't wait. I was upgrading, and I loved this phone, so went ahead and ordered it through an authorized Verizon dealer. đ

I went to the verizon home page a few days ago and tried to look up this phone, but I could not find it there???
Is the phone not yet available at this time??
I live in the Greenville/Spartanburg, SC area -- would this make a difference. FYI - I have not made a trip to the local Verizon store to see if this is in the local store or not. Has anyone in my home area seen this at a local Verizon store??

Oh, I forgot one question. What is the full retail price for this phone since my mother-in-law is going to upgrade prior to the end of her current contract and will need to pay the full retail price for any upgrade at this time.

I think it's in the ball park of $240.00 or $250.00, now that is not certain, but I think it's close to that. Paul will be able to tell you EXACT retail amount!!

Hi,akidwai! So far that I know of, the premium Verizon stores probably won't carry it. I got mine through an authorized Verizon agent. I'm not sure if they will carry it in the future or not, but I got mine from e-bay, a real nice guy that is an authorized agent. It is available as I said, you just have to get it through an outside source. Call Paul at Wireless Express at 1-800-531-6041. He is an awesome guy who has these, and he will ship it for free, then when you get it, call him to activate it. I LOVE this phone still. You will not be disappointed. I'm confused/concerned âšī¸ about Verizon's LG Clout VX-8370. I went to a Verizon company store and a Wall-mart yesterday. Just as I read here on Phone Scoop, the Verizon store did NOT and has not had the 8370. Wall-mart's 2-year price is 97 cents! I phoned *611 yesterday and today. In the 10 years I've been their customer, I've previously been happy with their customer service. From my 2 calls, I learned that 1) Verizon introduced the phone on July 12 of this year -- less than 3 months ago, 2) it's already 'discontinued', 3) they have a large number of 'certified like new' (a.k.a. repaired) 3870 handsets.
I haven't seen any recent reviews of the phone here (or elsewhere), since the several glowing reviews by folks who had used the handset...

WOW!! I know they were talking about it in the summer, but for some reason said they would NOT carry it in their stores!! I got mine from an outside source, an authorized Verizon dealer. I am happy with this phone, I really like it. why Verizon NEVER carried it is beyond me. This whole thing about the Clout confuses me too. I got mine for free, because I was due for an upgrade, but also had a credit due to me on my account, so it was free with free shipping! I know I haven't helped, sorry! đ

Just visited a verizon company store, guess what they had the phone. The manager said it was not in all the stores. but in many hope this helps.

I just found this phone in the Verizon Wireless store located at 11550 Rockville Pike in Rockville, Maryland, and I am very happy with it so far.
The cost was $29.95 with a two-year contract renewal. I didn't have to buy a data plan.
The owner of the shop said not all Verizon stores are carrying the phone, but he is carrying it because he knows it's a good phone.
