Not that I know of, Irwin. I went to the clock format, but didn't see anything that would indicate it could stay on. Maybe someone else can give some feedback in case I overlooked something. Hope I helped anyway! 🙂

You're welcome! I have yet to see a phone that does that too. I know you can keep the backlight always on, there is a feature for that, but that sure would drain the battery! When you get this phone (sounds like you are getting it) please post a review as to how you like it. The ones that have it, including me, just LOVE it!!! 🙂

Actually, I got an Intensity but may return it and it can do it but as you say, the battery doesn't last long and you can't lock the keyboard unless the backlight is off. Also my LG 9400 can keep the screen on at all times if you go through the service menu. The main reason I want the screen on is that I can tell if I had a missed call without always having to touch the phone. Is there some blinking lights or other alerts for a missed call? Thanks
