Car Kit Mode

Help!
My phone has inadvertently entered 'car kit' mode. I have been driving myself crazy trying to unstick it. Please help! I cannot find the answer anywhere, and due to the mountain of problems I have already experienced with my carrier, I do not wish to return to the store anytime soon.

what exactly is the symptom, your having with the phone, what wont it do, or stop doing.
I have this phone and feel I know its features pretty well.
Let me know what your problem is, I'll do my best to help you.

Try holding down the * button until it changes modes, repeat til in normal mode
